CanSkate

Our CanSkate sessions are open to all beginner skaters wishing to improve their basic skills whether their focus is figure skating, hockey, ringette, speed skating or just skating for fun. Levels include those stepping on the ice for the first time all the way up to Stage 6. Our sessions are full of action, movement and fun – you’ll see our coaches using teaching aids, upbeat music and a wide variety of activities to create a motivational environment that promotes learning. To get started all you need are skates, a CSA-approved hockey helmet, long pants, mittens and a warm sweater/jacket!

Monday Advanced CanSkate/Figure Skating Intro (April/May/June)

This session is designed for our CanSkaters that are interested in Figure Skating that have completed Stage 3 CanSkate

Teen/Young Adult CanSkate - NOW OPEN!

Southern Alberta Skating Academy is excited to offer a Teen/ Young Adult CanSkate.  A one of a kind program that focuses on skill development for skaters aged 10 years and up.

It is never too late to learn to skate!
